Retreating is a beautiful way to mindfully withdraw from the urgency, stress, and busy-ness of our everyday lives, and to dedicate space to commit to our practices and our inward journeys. It helps us limit distractions, allows us to disconnect from our schedules and our screens, and provides a container within which we can show up for ourselves - body, mind, and spirit.
